Codeshot is provided free of charge for creating images of code and related content. You may use it for personal and commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to create or distribute content that is infringing, abusive, or harmful.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you paste into Codeshot and to the images you create. Because content is processed locally in your browser, we do not claim any ownership of it and we do not store it. You are solely responsible for the content you create and how you use the exported images, and for ensuring you have the rights to do so.

Intellectual property

The Codeshot name, design, and software are owned by Codeshot and protected by applicable laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without permission. Third- party fonts, themes and libraries remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their licenses.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported images will meet your requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codeshot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

The Service may contain advertising and links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third parties. Advertising is subject to our Privacy Policy.
